Asus has ever produced colourful Eee Pc in Eee Pc 701 models. Then it reduced to main 2 colours, which are balck and white, for following models. But now! Asus is coming back to colourful products by start luanching collection of Asus Eee Pc 1005HA Seashell which consists of 5 colours. Two main colours are black and white, other 3 colours showed below.

Start with the red colour, dark red.

The next blue colour, like the colour of Aspire One.

The last one is pink colour, it's not a deep pink but looks bright.

All of three new colours have colour tone changing in the middle and drawed in the diagonal line on the cover.

ASUS has introduced "Sea Shell" or Eee PC 1008HA to netbook market in CeBIT 2009 Exhibition on March. Now, ASUS decide to sell the Eee PC 1008HA worldwide.

The specification is quite not differ form other netbooks in the market. That is Intel Atom N280 1.66 GHz for CPU, LCD 10" for screen, internal memory 1 GB, 160 GB for harddisk, also WiFi and Webcam.

Sea Shell or Eee PC 1008HA has a prominent point on thin body, the thickest part of body is less than 1 inch. It's designed for deluxe and trendy with gloss white colour, look like Sea Shell.

All of the expansion connectors, both left anh right side, have their own cap. It looks smooth when all cap are closed.

Only SD card slot, that doesn't have a cap.

LED light indicators have been moved to the back.

On the right side, there are a USB slot, headphone and microphone slots, and another one is Ethernet LAN (now, do not know how to use it).

On the left side, the USB and mini VGA port are provided. VGA port adaptor is embedded in the body.

This model comes with Lithium Polymer battery , thinner than Lithium Ion. Working time is more than 6 hours.

DIY Case : With the leather, you can create a luxury case by yourself. This shows you some basic steps but you can adapt a little for your unique case. You can change leather to another thing like soft foam, thin plastic or rubber. Let's start with:
1.Write your plan on the paper, and cut the leather following your plan on the paper.
2.Round corners with a scissors.
3.Paste velcros on the leather in the position like the pictures show you.
4.Stick velcros with glue or sewing(recommended because it's stronger).
5.Test your case.

I think you will feel surprise with this news like me. The new eee pc will come with its multi-touchpad. This multi-touchpad on Asus Eee Pc 900 works like mac's touchpad.

First off, this touchpad is significantly larger than the one you'll find on the Eee PC 700 series. At first we figured the larger trackpad was due to customer complaints that the first generation Eee PC's pad was just to small. But now it looks like the new pad is designed to give you enough area to wiggle two fingers around.

There are two sets of gestures that you'll be able to perform with two fingers:

1. Move your fingers apart to zoom in on an image or document, and back together to zoom in.
2. Move both fingers up or down together to make an entire window scroll, and not just the cursor.

The first action will only work in supported applications : OpenOffice.org Writer, Impress, Adobe Reader, and the PhotoManager utility for now. But I suspect we'll see support for more software down the road. It's not clear if there's multitouch support for both the Windows and Linux versions of these programs.

Remove Window Component with XPlite (For Asus Eee Pc)

For the simple start, follow this instruction.

1.Before start using XPLite, when you open the program, you should go toWindows Files Protection tab to close Windows File Protection(select to OFF) and then click Apply.[best buy gift card]
